Home to, and named after the historic Mission San Jose (1797), the community
of "Mission" is a large, sprawling area adjacent to the foothills around Mission
Peak. A wide range of mainly modern homes can be found here, along with a
smaller number of older homes built around the mission itself.
Location:
At the south-east edge of Fremont - south of
the I-680 and adjacent to the foothills.
Age of Homes:
Mainly 1980s onwards, with a small number
of older homes.
