Nestled in the foothills in the north-east of Fremont, the community of Niles
is home to a beautiful historic main street and was once the home of Charlie
Chaplin's Essanay film studios. It's "old town" charms also attracted Clint
Eastwood, who shot his movie "Bronco Billy" here. Niles is also Fremont's
"antique district", and antique hunters will find a wide choice amongst the
stores here.
